Students from Ondokuz Mayıs University (OMU) Animation and Game Development Club (AVOG) carried out a meaningful activity through a solidarity project with children supported by LÖSEV. Under the guidance of Dr. Özlem Ayvaz Tunç and with the support of Researcher Dr. Hüseyin Uzuntaş, AVOG members met with children who have recovered through LÖSEV. During this meeting, colorful designs created by the children’s imagination were transferred onto special T-shirts.
In the project, children reflected their own drawings on T-shirts using their chosen colors and figures. The designed T-shirts were printed and gifted to the children by the brand Cabri Gonzales, owned by volunteer LÖSEV supporter Tolga Köseoğlu. Children who could not participate in drawing were also able to choose their favorite T-shirts and take part in this special day.
Dr. Özlem Ayvaz Tunç emphasized that the project aimed to touch the hearts of the children. Researcher Dr. Hüseyin Uzuntaş highlighted the importance of allowing children to freely create their own designs. Tolga Köseoğlu, owner of Cabri Gonzales, expressed that the project was very meaningful to them and that the children’s happiness brought them joy as well.
Organized within the scope of social contribution activities, this event brought university students and children with leukemia together, offering a colorful example of art and solidarity.
