Students from the Industrial Design Department of our faculty achieved remarkable success by ranking in national and international design competitions.

In the International Procarton Packaging Design Competition, out of approximately 800 carton packaging designs from across Europe, three of our Industrial Design students reached the finals and were among the 25 finalists. Enes Biçer won the national first prize in the “All Other Winner” category, Berre Fermancı received the national first prize in the “Sustainability” category, and Sıla Tüylüoğlu was awarded an honorable mention.

In the 15th National Furniture Design Competition, organized under the coordination of the Ministry of Trade, in collaboration with the Turkish Exporters Assembly and the Central Anatolian Furniture, Paper, and Forest Products Exporters Association, our Industrial Design students Emre Kocaer and Farid Saeidimanesh were awarded the gold prize for their project “Playnest.”

As the OMÜ Faculty of Fine Arts, we congratulate our students for their achievements in these competitions and wish them continued success.
