Ondokuz Mayıs University (OMU) organised a seminar and award ceremony within the scope of the 'Creative Cultural Industries Meet Young Entrepreneurs' project supported by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. OMU Rector Prof. Dr. Yavuz Ünal and many academicians and students attended the event held at the Faculty of Communication.
The students of the graphics department of our faculty ranked first in the Poster Contest of Cultural Values of Samsun from Past to Present organised within the scope of the project. Our student, Doğukan YILMAZ came first in the competition, while Nisa Nur IŞIKOĞLU came second. Yeliz KAHYA, Nida Nur IŞIKOĞLU and Onurhan DEMİRSOY were awarded honourable mention.
