The National Internship Programme was initiated by the Human Resources Office of the Presidency of the Republic of Turkey in order to ensure that our young people benefit from internship opportunities offered by public and private sector organisations within the framework of equal opportunities and in accordance with the principles of merit.
Students who apply to the Programme are evaluated with a transparent, traceable and innovative method based on their academic/vocational, artistic/social and sportive competence scores, taking into account their performance throughout their education life, their efforts to improve their skills and their achievements. Employers, on the other hand, send internship offers to students based on the scores they receive in the mentioned competence areas without seeing their identity and university information.
**WHO CAN APPLY?
- Students who continue their education in universities in Turkey, TRNC and abroad and have a grade point average of at least 2 out of 4 (equivalent in other systems);
- 2nd, 3rd or 4th year students of formal undergraduate programmes (medical faculty, teaching and dentistry departments are not included)
- 1st or 2nd year students of associate degree programmes providing formal education
- Turkish Citizen or Blue Card holder students who continue their master's/doctoral studies at universities abroad.
*Since the GPA is not yet finalised, this requirement is not required for 1st year associate degree students at the time of application.
*On the date of internship; 2nd year undergraduate and 1st year associate degree students are expected to have passed to the next grade, 4th year undergraduate and 2nd year associate degree students are expected to have not graduated, and 1st year associate degree students are expected to have a GPA above 2. Otherwise, employers may cancel internship offers.

2- Complete the e-Government Phase
Complete the "e-Government phase" by checking and confirming your incoming information,
3- Fill in the Application Form
Complete the "Application Form" according to the criteria specified in each question and complete your application
4- Seize Opportunities
Don't forget to follow Career Gateway (https://kariyerkapisi.cbiko.gov.tr/ulusalstajprogrami) regularly to review and accept offers from employers after the application process is closed
